Ms.
Hart graduated Phi Theta Kappa in the Legal Assisting program
at Marshall University, Huntington, WV, in 1991. Marshall's
paralegal program is an ABA approved program. She obtained
her B.A. in Legal Studies from Marshall University in 1993, with
a minor in Sociology. Ms. Hart was inducted into Gamma Beta
Phi, a University-wide honorary, and also into Alpha Phi Sigma,
the National Criminal Justice honorary. She was named to
the Dean's List and the National Dean's List; served as President
of Phi Theta Kappa; and was awarded a scholastic scholarship for
her 1990-91 term.
Ms. Hart has been employed by J.T. Meisel, a sole practitioner
in Huntington and previous Director of Marshall's paralegal program.
She has also worked for Cozen & O'Connor at their Charlotte,
NC office, and has been with Busch, Zurbuch & Thompson since April
1995. Ms. Hart is a member of Association of West Virginia
Paralegals, Inc. and a paralegal member of Defense Trial Counsel.
Ms. Hart is involved in all areas of case development.
Ms. Hart is also Busch, Zurbuch & Thompson's Information Systems
Supervisor. She is responsible for all hardware and software components
servicing the office and for maintenance and troubleshooting of
the firm's computer network.
