Ms. Potts has been employed with Busch, Zurbuch & Thompson, PLLC, since May 1980 and has worked closely with Richard H. Talbott, Jr. in the firm's real estate practice.  While employed with Busch, Zurbuch & Thompson, PLLC, she has completed several courses in paralegal studies and numerous courses through Fairmont State College, including courses in business, accounting and writing.

Ms. Potts received her certified paralegal designation by examination in January 1995 and successfully completed her real estate specialty exam in May 1995.  She is the only certified paralegal with a real estate specialty in the state of West Virginia; there are only 203 certified paralegals with a real estate specialty nationwide.  Under the supervision of David E. Thompson, Ms. Potts conducts title examinations in several counties in West Virginia and closes real estate transactions for individuals and lending institutions.
